Democrats think there is a crisis every 5 seconds….Fu
    ck em!

  2. Follow Jesus says:

Gossip should never be a crisis, but welcome to the new America. This is diabolical and insulting article 1 in the first place. Anyone using the government to get someone's taxes without a legal reason is the crisis. Trump releasing his taxes is his business, there is no law requiring that. Is it progress to make that into a law now? Do people think America has stood still since before the election over two years ago? Trump already won, so that is not still up for debate. Still repeating the same concerns over and over again. One day people will wake from their opinions to facts of Trump as President and realize they missed how the facts happened.

  3. The vaping Polisher says:

We don’t care about his taxes . The democrats are in panic mode next week one by one will get locked up for treason and other crimes. 🍿🍿🍿🍿

  6. Terry Luster says:

There is NO Law to compel Donald Trump to relinquish his taxes! If the IRS or the treasury turned over his tax returns they could be sued.

  7. Ronald Fox says:

    Who is this geezer?

  8. huckle berry says:

No collusion? Lets talk about taxes and hopefully nobody hears about Hillary's 38k deleted emails on obamas computer in oval office found by fbi. Or the FOIA documents about hillary and obama inventing and paying for the FAKE Russian dossier. Or how judicial watch had priestap testifying about hillarys thousands of deleted emails found in obamas computer in oval office , or how hillarys server was in her bedroom closet. Or how obama orchestrated the entire spying on TRUMP and got caught, or how obama knew about the email scandal with hillary and obama pulling all the strings, or how hillary lied about BENGHAZI or how obama lied about FOIA requests. Mueller hand delivered the uranium samples to russia for Hillary and Obama. Hillary and Obama are in serious trouble. Watch Tom Fitton on judicial watch.

  9. Terry Luster says:

I think the Democrats that are doing this could possibly be looking at treason charges.

  10. El Loco says:

How come Mnuchin is not arrested? He would be in any country with moral values and an independent judiciary.

  11. Osteen Michael says:

I think they need to clear the air on treason by the fbi ,the media and democrates,mo collusion was found making everyone on that side look like bad guy and they should check to see if this is all just bad people who are mad that trump won and are seeking ro oust him over bitterness

  12. rich s says:

    Trump has hemorrhoids

  13. austin clark says:

What reason that helps govern the country do you need to see his tax returns? None you want it them to possibly find a way to continue to smear him. So your motives are political.

  14. Shawn March says:

Problem is you we have privacy laws that say they cant make you show your taxes! Its illegal to make anyone show them. You might not like it but thats to bad.

  17. Rose Treiger says:

The guy who runs the treasury is a Democrat. The Democrats are hell-bent on destroying America. This is the same man that raised interest rates and almost collapsed the stock market while he sat there laughing playing with himself

  21. Akihito007 says:

Hmm it's almost like there are actual laws to prevent someone from leaking a person's PRIVATE financial taxes.

  22. Terry Luster says:

If the Democrats Knew The dossier was fake and they carried on with this charade, that would be treason. It looks like Barr is going to Find out.

  23. Don Juan says:

The Amazon Post is fake news.

  24. Tom Jones says:

Democrats are scared they're fixing to go to jail!!!!!

  25. Walter Johnson says:

The statute involved is clear cut and leave no room for exceptions, and there is a real need to see Real Estate Developer tax returns because ones like Trump gain totally unfair tax advantage and have since at least the end of World War II. First they don't pay taxes on building depreciation even when in fact a building is appreciating, and then they never pay income taxes on the appreciation unless they sell the buildings. So they can pass under Trump's latest tax bill totally free of estate or any other federal taxes to heirs when he dies as long as he doesn't sell his key properties.

I say impeach the Treasury Secretary and the IRS commissioner for failure to comply the subpoenas. The founders never intended for Congress to be neutered by any President, ever.

  26. Carl McCoy says:

Perhaps the IRS should start legislating. Take a vote and get rid of the house of representatives. No? not their job? Last time I heard the IRS was in charge of tax audits.

It is push back time now, There is a new Sheriff in town

  27. Shawn Martin says:

So illegals literally filling up ICE detention centers trying to cross the border is less important than trying to find something to weaponize on Trump. I mean since it turns out it wasn’t Russia.

  28. Hans Kuhlmann says:

what a bunch of malarky. Dems just make i up as they go along to suit their purpose. If you want to see the presidents tax returns, then lets see yours and everyone else as well. otherwise, shut up and go away you liberal mindset.

  29. ukuscott says:

Congress has the right to oversight of the executive branch. The revenue act of 1924 gives the chairman of ways and means the legal authority to see anyone's tax returns. They can share this information with other members of the committee and some other people, but they cannot just release the returns to the public. but they can use it to start investigations or propose new laws. But this has nothing to do with privacy, this is about whether we are going to allow the president to become a king or keep him and the executive branch as a co-equal branch of our government.

  30. Terry Luster says:

Trump is playing them and it just makes Dems look weak.

  31. Joey Starrett says:

    U.S. Supreme Court
    Watkins v. United States, 354 U.S. 178 (1957)

    Watkins v. United States

    No. 261

    Argued March 7, 1957

    Decided June 17, 1957

    354 U.S. 178

    (a) The power of Congress to conduct investigations, inherent in the legislative process, is broad, but it is not unlimited. P. 354 U. S. 187.

    (b) Congress has no general authority to expose the private affairs of individuals without justification in terms of the functions of Congress. P. 354 U. S. 187.

    (c) No inquiry is an end in itself; it must be related to, and in furtherance of, a legitimate task of Congress. P. 354 U. S. 187.

    (d) The Bill of Rights is applicable to congressional investigations, as it is to all forms of governmental action. P. 354 U. S. 188.U.S. Supreme Court

    (g) A congressional investigation into individual affairs is invalid if unrelated to any legislative purpose, because it is beyond the powers conferred upon Congress by the Constitution. Kilbourn v. Thompson, 103 U. S. 168. P. 354 U. S. 198.

    (h) It cannot simply be assumed that every congressional investigation is justified by a public need that overbalances any private rights affected, since to do so would be to abdicate the responsibility placed by the Constitution upon the judiciary to insure that Congress does not unjustifiably encroach upon an individual's right of privacy nor abridge his liberty of speech, press, religion or assembly. Pp. 354 U. S. 198-199.

    (i) There is no congressional power to expose for the sake of exposure where the predominant result can be only an invasion of the private rights of individuals. P. 354 U. S. 200.

    TL:DR (g), (h), (i), see you in court.

  32. James T Ryder says:

You Sir are a blaaaaabberrrr mouuuuth! You're a putz with all of this inference and no valid points. The Dems are asking Treasury to violate the privacy of a US Citizen. The US Congress is entitled to NOBODIES TAXES just because they want them. and more so because they want to LOOK FOR A CRIME AFTER HAVING THE PERSON – IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND BARNEY FIFE

  33. tom lynagh sr says:

  34. J T SMITH says:

  35. Phil Ogan says:

What total bs. I could care less about Trumps taxes, or Obama's birth certificate or all this crap the media brews up. How does this dipshit think this is a crisis? Pascrell, you have been circling the drain the last 3 years time for you to go.

  36. Casey McKee says:

This guy belongs in a nursing home, not in the halls of Congress.

  37. Joseph Casey says:

Congress has no authority to see the President's tax returns. They are with the IRS and he's been audited every year since the 80's. I heard one person say if the President is innocent then what does he have to hide? Well I say; innocent of what? You have to be charged with something first…don't you?? It's like a person who is suspected of shoplifting…if you're innocent then you wouldn't mind emptying your pockets? When it comes to taxes; what wrongdoing is Congress suspecting of the President? Without naming a viable charge, no court is going to let Congress view his private tax returns or any specific civilians tax returns. It's pretty obvious to most normal people they are desperately digging for dirt…and this is from people who reside in a swamp. Go figure…

  38. Bob Foster says:

These moments will be used as precedents, not ignored.

  46. Judith Flosa says:

  49. Steven Torrey says:

Section 6103(f)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) reads:

Upon written request from the chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives, the chairman of the Committee on Finance of the Senate, or the chairman of the Joint Committee on Taxation, the Secretary [of the Treasury] shall furnish such committee with any return or return information specified in such request, except that any return or return information which can be associated with, or otherwise identify, directly or indirectly, a particular taxpayer shall be furnished to such committee only when sitting in closed executive session unless such taxpayer otherwise consents in writing to such disclosure.

  50. Terry Luster says:

Maybe in preschool he did something wrong maybe we should look at his transcripts?

  51. Terry Luster says:

After the Mueller report this just looks desperate!

  52. Donald Ducko says:

Mnuchin gave the democrats the double middle finger. GOOD.

Sit on it and spin. Pelosi first.

  53. Steven Torrey says:

For those citing U.S. Supreme Court

    Watkins v. United States, 354 U.S. 178 (1957)
    .
Watkins refused to name names before the House Un-American Activities; he thought the very question was outside the scope of proper Congressional Inquiry. Watkins has NOTHING to do with tax returns or confidentiality of tax returns. To cite Watkins is an IRRELEVANT RED HERRING

Now study Section 6103(f)(1) which is germane to the Trumpster CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE!

The House needs to get going with the contempt citations. Sometimes you’ve gotta pound the table to let folks know you’re around.

  62. Pepins Spot says:

Congress needs to understand that these people are lawless and play tough. Throw a couple of them in jail and then they'll take Congress seriously.

  63. Cedric Michael says:

Why the hell did trump ever say he would release his taxes in the first place if he never planned on releasing them? I don’t get it?

  64. Thomas Headley says:

For better or worse, a great deal of privacy is surrendered when seeking public office. If u don't like the sun, get back in the cave. The world will gladly "Just walk on by.." Kendall Hayes, made famous by Dionne Warwick.

  65. Dothemathemathics says:

What is Trump hiding? Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush SR, Clinton, Bush JR, Obama all released taxes. Trump promised to release Taxes. What a liar.

  66. Saltponds239 says:

Another Constitutional Crisis? I've lost count. With all these crises, why isn't Congress acting? If you have the law on your side, perhaps Bill Pascrell should take his "probable cause" and put it on a warrant application, swear that all of the information is verified, accurate and truthful and sign it.

  67. J Mart says:

Must be nice to be rich. Laws mean nothing to them.

  68. Jim Russell says:

Democrat's, it's backbone time, quit talking, take action. Seriously, the House needs to send the Sgt. at Arms, over cuff the insolent arrogant whelp and throw him in a House anteroom and "lock'em up" until the girlyman conforms. Then start filling the room with the rest of the Trump lawful subpoena ignoring recalcitrant outlaw gang. Actually I'm sure Barr and Trump's falsely maligned FBI or CIA personnel would be more than happy to perform the task if the Sgt, isn't up to the human waste cleanup.

  69. Steven Pendleton says:

Why does it matter? He gets audited every year. Those idiots in Congress are doing nothing but trying to impede changes that this country needs. It will be nice when some of the big players in congress and in the FBI and CIA go spend some time behind bars.

  70. Saint Robert's says:

Democratic misfits can't accomplish anything because they are to busy chasing shadows they create.

  77. ACK Preacher says:

    (1) Please state the law which requires a president or candidate to produce their tax records — no such law exists (2) Trump is in compliance with the USA tax laws as outlined and monitored by IRS and their power to audit (3) If there was some sort of collusion wouldnt Robert Muellers team have uncovered it their 2 year multi million dollar inquiry (4) Doing business in other countries does not make one a foreign agent nor is it illegal — Apple has stores in russia and does billions in sales from there are they working for Putin as well ?? —– Come on people — isnt it time you stop being distracted by this circus act and demand the news media start reporting on actual news — real events — We are being played for fools — distracted just like a magician — look here — dont look here — Dont look at our FED propped up economy and the trillions of fiat money thats been printed – dont look at how Americcan consumers, corporations, states, and the federal government are in record levels of debt — dont look at the stores closing and lack luster retail sales — dont look at groceries up 14% in the past year — dont look at the real inflation rate — Just keep your eyes glued on Trump dramas and nonsense — thats exactly what our leaders want us to do (Dems and Repubs) — they are all in it together — robbing us blind and selling out our country while we argue about Monika Lewinskys blue dress, Obama birth certificate, and Trumps Russia collusion —

  78. Brian Szymanski says:

Vote in the 2020 election to change the current situation in the Whitehouse.

  79. Suzy Q says:

It's bad enough that Trump and Friends are stonewalling every request and disregarding the law in some cases, but to laugh it off the way Steve Mnuchin did on TV, was a real slap in the face. Just s big 🖕 to all Americans.
Well, you know what? 🖕Right back atcha!

  80. James Cronin says:

Donald Trump is a psychopath who believes he is above the law. The REAL question is whether or not the "conservative" Supreme Court judges have the balls to uphold the Constitution. If not, our nation, and our world are screwed. Period.

  81. anis jerbi says:

Look, here is the thing, if you fire someone because he is investigating on you, stop anyone from knowing anything about yourself, not answer to any question about yourself, it means you have something to hide, this is literally the definition of obstruction of justice and trump is not even hiding his efforts to obstruct justice. Think about it, if he really is innocent, and he doesn't have anything to hide, why can't he just answer to anything people ask him, or let someone investigate on him? if he really is innocent, why can't he just act like such?
I think it's not truly hard to understand that there is something he doesn't want us to know about himself, at least I hope it's not hard. I don't think it could be clearer than this. what do you want? him to say: YES I OBSTRUCT JUSTICE?
He is saying it with his acts already.

  82. deborah chinn says:

Individual-1 knows that if America reads his tax returns we will discover that he is a poor little not so rich boy who squandered his inheritance and made a deal to sell out America to Vladimir Putin in exchange for implementing every single nefarious request Putin made to him. Even his sons admitted years ago on a golf course that they get all their money from Russia!

  83. Norman Oro says:

That's right. Congress is a co-equal branch of the federal government. Steven Mnuchin wasn't elected by anyone. Congress, every single member of it, was elected by the people of the United States of America. Of all times in our country's history, now is not the time to cede power to the executive branch. With all due respect to Representative Pascrell, this president is already suspect in the eyes of many Americans (mine included). Each act of stonewalling only strengthens suspicions that our country is now in the bizarre/woeful situation where someone with strong criminal tendencies is in charge of enforcing our country's laws. Congress must stand its ground.
